This Privacy Policy applies to AITANIA ("AITANIA," the "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). The Service is operated by Mindzen AI Studio.

2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the AITANIA mobile apps, web version, related websites, account deletion page, customer support communications, and other features directly related to the Service.
This Policy is intended to reflect the current product, including account access, guest play, AI adventure chat, character chat, local and cloud saves, account progress, analytics, Aether, AITANIA PASS, and in-app purchase verification.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account and Identity Information
When you create, access, or use an account, we may collect or generate:
- Username and display name.
- Password, which is stored as a password hash rather than as plaintext.
- Player ID and account identifiers.
- Guest key or guest player ID when you use guest access.
- Billing identity used to link an account to purchase verification systems.
- Language access flags and basic account settings.
- Session identifiers and cookies, including the
aitania.sidsession cookie.
3.2 Gameplay, Save, and Progress Information
To provide the Service, we may collect and store gameplay information, including:
- Adventure inputs, choices, AI outputs, story logs, route state, party state, portal state, turn count, node state, investigation state, and related save data.
- Character Archive and Character Story progress, such as unlocked character state and read chapter IDs.
- Character Chat messages, assistant response variants, continuation state, deleted-message markers, relationship memory summaries, pinned facts, current agenda, recent portal memories, and related synchronization data.
- Tutorial state, account progress, portal clear records, character run and clear records, and other game progression data.
- Local data stored on your device, such as settings, language preference, install ID, player ID, cached account state, local saves, and cached character chat state.
Please do not enter unnecessary sensitive personal information in AITANIA chats. If you voluntarily provide sensitive details, such as real identity, contact, health, financial, or other sensitive information, that information may be processed to generate responses, stored in saves, included in chat memory, or reviewed when needed for safety, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
3.3 Purchase, Aether, and Entitlement Information
If you view, purchase, restore, or use AITANIA PASS or Aether, we may collect and process:
- Product identifiers, platform, display name, price, currency, purchase status, restore status, and entitlement status.
- PASS entitlement status, plan code, access period, purchase status, refund, revocation, or expiration status.
- Transaction IDs, original transaction IDs, purchase tokens, receipts, store verification payloads and related purchase metadata.
- Aether grants, Aether usage, Aether source, local daily refresh date, quota status, and purchase ledger records.
Apple App Store, Google Play, and other platform or purchase service providers may process payment and purchase information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not store full credit card numbers or full platform payment credentials.
3.4 Analytics, Device, and Diagnostic Information
We collect analytics and diagnostic information to operate, secure, and improve the Service. This may include:
- Event name, event ID, client timestamp, install ID, player ID, session ID, portal ID, turn count, node ID, node type, screen, source, result, language, locale, timezone, and event properties.
- App ID, app version, build number, platform, operating system name and version, device type, manufacturer, model name, emulator status, and a hashed vendor device identifier.
- Store impressions, product load results, purchase taps, purchase results, restore events, registration and login events, gameplay progression events, and error events.
- Server request metadata, IP-derived rate limit keys, hashed registration rate limit identifiers, error logs, and basic security logs.
- Chat proxy usage metadata, such as task type, result, status code, duration, whether formal quota was charged, session or character context, model profile, and error code.
Where enabled, analytics events may be forwarded to third-party analytics and attribution providers such as Firebase Analytics and Adjust. These providers may receive limited analytics parameters and, for successful purchases, revenue, currency, product, and transaction-related fields.
3.5 Information Processed by AI Service Providers
AITANIA relies on third-party AI service providers for core interactive content. To generate responses, our servers may send those providers information such as:
- Your current input.
- Recent story or character chat context.
- Party, portal, scene, route, and gameplay state.
- Character profile, memory, relationship summary, pinned facts, and suggested reply context.
- System prompts, runtime instructions, and response format requirements.
We use this information to generate AI story responses and related interactive content. AI providers may process the information under their applicable service terms and data processing arrangements.
3.6 Support and Communications
If you contact us, we may collect your email address, the contents of your message, attachments you provide, and information needed to respond to your request.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, restore, and manage user and guest sessions.
- Provide AI adventure chat, character chat, character stories, local saves, cloud saves, account progress, and related gameplay features.
- Generate AI responses and maintain conversation or story continuity.
- Track and enforce Aether usage, daily Aether limits, permanent Aether, and PASS entitlements.
- Process, verify, restore, revoke, or troubleshoot purchases and entitlements.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, enforce rate limits, investigate abuse, protect safety, and comply with legal obligations.
- Analyze app stability, feature usage, store conversion, retention, gameplay progression, and service performance.
- Respond to support, privacy, account deletion, and legal requests.
- Debug errors, monitor backend health, and improve the Service where permitted by law.
6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
We use session cookies, local storage, mobile device storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, store local saves, maintain guest identity, cache account state, maintain analytics install IDs, and support app functionality.
You may be able to clear local storage or app data through your browser, operating system, or app settings. Clearing local data may remove local saves, cached progress, guest identifiers, preferences, or local access to account state.
7. Data Retention
We generally retain information as follows:
- Account information is retained while your account remains active.
- Guest identifiers and guest-linked records may remain until local storage is cleared, the guest session is replaced, or related server records are removed through normal retention or deletion processes.
- Cloud saves, account progress, character story progress, tutorial state, and character chat sync data are retained while your account remains active or until the relevant data is deleted or overwritten.
- Local saves and local caches remain on your device until you delete them, clear local storage, uninstall the app, or delete the account state.
- Purchase, entitlement, transaction, Aether ledger, refund, revocation, and related audit records may be retained as needed for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute handling, platform compliance, legal obligations, and audit purposes.
- Analytics, diagnostic, rate limit, chat usage, and security logs may be retained for a reasonable period needed for analytics, troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, compliance, and product operations.
- Backup copies may persist for a limited period until overwritten or deleted through normal backup cycles.
When you delete your account, we will delete or begin deletion of personal information and cloud data directly associated with that account from primary production systems where reasonably practicable, except where retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, audit, backup, dispute, or compliance reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including server-side session management, secure cookies in production, password hashing, access controls, rate limits, purchase verification, provider credentials kept server-side, and limiting access to personnel and service providers with a legitimate need.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information, and you may have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can manage some information directly by:
- Signing out.
- Deleting individual saves.
- Clearing local storage or app data.
- Deleting your account in the app.
- Using the public account deletion page.
- Managing platform purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Using platform privacy controls for analytics, advertising, and device identifiers where available.
To exercise privacy rights that are not available in the app, contact privacy@mindzen.sg. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Account Deletion
If you create an account in the app, you can request account deletion in the app or through our public account deletion page. Account deletion generally removes account access and deletes or initiates deletion of cloud saves and account-linked gameplay data from primary production systems.
Account deletion may remove access to account-linked PASS access, Aether, and other digital benefits, subject to applicable law and platform rules. Platform purchases, refunds, and any subscription management remain handled through the platform account where the purchase was made. We may retain limited purchase, transaction, security, fraud prevention, dispute, audit, backup, or legal records as described in this Policy.
11. Age Restrictions
AITANIA is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, do not register for, access, or use the Service.
If we reasonably believe that we collected personal information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete that information where reasonably practicable.
12. International Processing
Where permitted by applicable law, your information may be processed in countries or regions other than where you live, including for cloud hosting, AI inference, analytics, purchase verification, technical support, security, and related operational needs. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to third-party websites and services, such as Discord community pages, app stores, platform purchase flows, open-source components, and other external resources. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
14. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, operational needs, legal requirements, or regulatory expectations. If an update materially affects your rights, we will provide notice through the app, the website, or another reasonable method where required.
